Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati So glad I joined! I’ve been to two meetings, they are informative AND fun! The meeting begins with coffee & breakfast treats followed by club business and then (this is the best part) a demo from a visiting artist. This week’s meeting featured Ray Hassard – gouache artist.

Hearts on Fire

Hearts on Fire I’m obsessed with hearts lately. I read somewhere that the heart symbol is known and understood by all cultures to have a single meaning – love. It is not reinterpreted to have a hidden meaning. Hearts = Love, and I love that!

Spanish Exhibit – Cincinnati Art Museum I made it to the Treasures of the Spanish World exhibit at the Cincinnati Art Musuem in the nick-of-time! So much history captured by amazingly talented artists and craftspeople.

Taft Museum Poster Show I love the Taft! What gem of a art museum / historical home. This poster exhibit was so interesting. The advancement of technology within one decade was amazing!

I traveled down to Louisville for a fun day/art day. We went to the Bernheim Forest to see Danish artist, Thomas Dambo’s Forest Giants. Check them out, they’re awesome!
